Holy Redeemer Parish and School have experienced numerous blessings over the years. Our registered households have grown by nearly 25% over the past decade, which is remarkable considering registered Catholic statistics. We also boast a well-attended PSR, a vibrant CYC community, our school is currently at capacity and our ministries such as St. Vincent DePaul and Haiti continue to provide support for many. Despite the uncertainties we faced during the All Things New initiative, Holy Redeemer remains a preferred parish for many, and our growth continues.
These are all things we already know. Let’s talk about the things we may not know.
The percentage of households donating has decreased from 87% to 39% since 2015. Additionally, it may not be widely recognized that the generous donation received from Marcia Carrigan has been endowed; in other words, we have adhered to her instructions, ensuring that her contribution will benefit our parish for decades to come.
We do not wish to inundate you with statistics, but we do want to emphasize that our costs are rising while our income remains stagnant. We can all understand that a situation where expenses exceed income is not a positive scenario.
Today we humbly ask for you to faithfully consider initiating or increasing your donations. Also, consider electronic donation. To facilitate this, we have included pew cards with a QR code, directing you to our website where you can find detailed information about our expenses, income, how to set up online giving, and other resources related to the topics discussed today.
“What return can I make to the Lord for all that he has given me?” – Psalm 116:12
Remember: our financial initiative is themed “Holy Redeemer United: Growing & Giving Together.” We are united in having a strong parish and school, both in community and financial health. We are confident that with the generosity of our parishioners, Holy Redeemer will thrive for the decades that Marcia Carrigan so thoughtfully envisioned.
