Learn More about the Children's Liturgy

This ministry gives children an opportunity to learn about Jesus and the gospel message in a setting appropriate to their age. Dedicated volunteer catechists present the Word of God to the children grades preschool through 1st grade during the Sunday 9:00 AM Mass. The children are taken to the church meeting room to hear the Word proclaimed from the Lectionary for Masses with Children. Catechists use creative teaching methods which appeal to young children to reinforce the Gospel message. The children return to the congregation after the General Intercessions.
