The Parent-Teacher Organization (“PTO”) is a liaison between the school and the parents. They plan activities to make everyone, especially new families, feel welcome and to foster community building. The purpose of these events are to have fun and to raise money in order to help the school and teachers provide field trips, classroom supplies, as well as workshops that support education and development.
The purpose of this organization is twofold:
- To plan, implement and administer educational, financial, and social activities for the members.
- To offer such assistance to the principal as needed to produce a smooth, effective and positive operation of the school.
The PTO sponsors a School Open House in September of each year.
